Mark it in your calendar; here’s a dog wash day with a difference!
On Sunday 17 October, we’re teaming up with Animal Lover’s by Neo Tokyo and the Lort Smith Animal Hospital for the World’s Biggest Dog Wash. We’re aiming to raise $35,000 to purchase a much-needed Ultrasound machine for the Lort Smith Animal Hospital. The Adore Animals Foundation’s Managing Director Lisa Louden will host the day, which will also raise funds for the Foundation through the sale of the book Moments of Connection.
This is Animal Lover’s inaugural dog wash event and we hope to wash 2,000 dogs during the day. We also have a host of entertainment on offer, including entertainment from our very own ambassador Alanna Deutrom. Alanna’s been in London recording her first album and we’re super-excited to have her at the event! Alanna’s participating in a secret suprise and will also be singing and signing copies of Moments of Connection.
The event is being held at the Burnley Park Circus Site on Swan Street, in Burnley/Richmond, Victoria from 8am to 4pm on Sunday 17 October, 2010. To wash your dog at the event, the enrolment fee is just $35 and includes a show bag of goodies including a super-sized ‘dog wash’ towel, calico bag, pet treats, vouchers and more. And if don’t want to pay the enrolment (but why would you not!) come down and support us anyway, because everything you buy (including food) on the day will benefit the Lort Smith Animal Hospital.
