For those of you who don’t know the horror of puppy farms – it’s time to get acquainted. We see this destruction everyday and everyday we’re devastated by it. And it’s not just puppy farms, it’s euthanasia at shelters (that are supposed to be safe havens for animals – praise the NO kill shelters), live export atrocities, bear bile farming, it’s torture and cruelty … unfortunately, the list goes on and on.
The Adore Animals Foundation is about fostering positive relationships between humans and animals and it’s also about respecting and valuing animals. So here’s what I urge you to do. Pick a cause and support it. Whether that is helping to end puppy farms, converting shelters to no kill, lobbying politicians for better animal laws, sending care packages to volunteers, saving whales from slaughter, protecting the Leadbeater’s Possum forest from logging, stopping cockfighting and dog fighting, helping end elephant cruelty, ending animal testing, helping rehome animals – whatever it is, do it.
Then we want you to share with us what you’ve done, how you’ve helped however big or small. There are so many people out there working everyday to help animals, join them or support them. Believe me, they need it – often they’re volunteers (no pay) and overwhelmed by the enormity of the challenge before them.
So to get you started, here’s a clip that is not pretty. In fact, it’s disturbing and upsetting and we strongly recommend parental guidance. This is happening in Australia now and everyday. We need your help to stop it.
